History

The home was built sometime before 1910, but is cut off on the 1908 map of Haverford, so I can't see if it was extant by then. The Barker family lived in the home at its first registered census.

1910 census: Marylander William is living with his family.

Name Age Relation to Head of Household
William L. Barker 45 Head
Susan M. Barker 69 Mother
Mary B. Barker 48 Sister

1920 census: William's sister is now head of household.

Mary died in 1929 as a resident of the home. The home is missing from the 1930 census, but the Gormans lived there at least at the time of the death of Martha Gorman.

The Gaupp family acquired the home in 1956. They sold it in 2024 for $499,900.
